March for Babies

This past Tuesday God gained another Angel.

One of the moms from my Toddler board gave birth to Julia Grace on November 26, 2007. She weighed just under a pound and was 11 inches long. She was born at 23 weeks, 5 days gestation.


Julia Grace fought a hard fight. It seemed as though she was going to beat the odds for a Micro Premie and make it. There was even talk of Julia Grace going home within the next month. She lived one week past her original due date (41 weeks).

Sadly, Julia Grace couldn't fight any longer and on the morning of March 25, 2008 she suddently lost her battle; one day shy of her 4th month of life.

In honor of little Julia Grace I have decided to raise money and walk in the March for Babies walk in Raleigh on April 19. I am walking in Julia Grace's memory but also because you never know when it could be your child fighting for their life.
