My little lady (and one picture of her brother)!

It was a rainy weekend...cold and wet! It kept us indoors; heck, I even napped twice this weekend. I could use more weekends like this one. We *may* even get snow tonight/tomorrow.

Savannah is just growing up. She's had a vocabulary explosion within the last week saying words like "tushie, backpack, bo bo (as in the Bo Bo Monkeys from Diego), Dora, boots, Diego, me, night night, and so many other words. She's going to give Mr. Talknonstop a run for his money soon. Oh how cute is Miss Savannah in her tutu and her Ladybug dress (do you like it Gigi?)? The picture of the doll in the green chair is a picture of Savannah's favorite things: her anywhere chair (although her's in pink, the green one is Caedmon's), her Lupita doll, and her bunny!

Caedmon is doing pretty well. Matt and I are working on this behavior people tell me is just "normal 3 year old behavior". We've started a "Three Strikes" plan that basically means every fit he throws (or as we say when he has a "stinky attitude") is one strike. If he gets three strikes in a day he loses his dessert for the night...and trust me he HATES not getting dessert. We've also had to cut back on the snacking because he'd snack all day and not eat anything healthy. He seems to be okay with the new "diet"...it's sad when a diet includes eating the things he's supposed to actaully be eating. But it's so easy for me to give him a 100 cal snack pack and be done w/ him for a bit, but for now it's fruits, string cheese, or yogurt for snack time.

A little Caedmon funny...I was filing out this interview w/ a 3 year old on Facebook and one of the questions was "what is your mom good at doing". Caedmon's response "washing dishes". Then another question was what makes your mom happy. Again, his reply...Washing dishes! Boy this kid sure knows me well! :)

And you know I love the ladybug dress and pics of the doll and Savanah. Love pics of Caed also.

Dad and I had a nice weekend but too short due to the upcoming weather. LOTS OF SNOW HERE! Lots of love and keep warm and safe! Mom
