Well, it's that time of year again...how did it get to be December AGAIN? A tradition we've had since we got married is to decorate the house and the tree the Friday after Thanksgiving and that is exactly what we did this year.
By the time I got home Friday morning at 6:45am (I was doing some early EARLY bird shopping) Caedmon was asking to put the tree up. I'm pretty sure by 8:30am, the tree was up and Matt was moving on to hanging the outside lights.
Saturday was the Celebration of Life for my Granny. She donated her body to the ECU Brody School of Medicine, and her request was for us all to have a celebration after she passed. We had a nice church service followed by a reception/party at my parent's house after. It was a really nice time. Everyone wrote a message and placed it in a balloon, then we blew the balloons up w/ helium and sent them off!

Aunt Becky lives in Georgia; however, she brought the kid's Christmas gifts with her since she won't be coming home for Christmas. The kids were super excited to open an early Christmas present! Thanks Aunt Becky!
